Bricklaying. This is called the real world...
the pilot hole was good to stop the wood from splitting
That man also swings like a girl
A pre- drilled hole?
Horrific pointing that lad
🙈🙈🙈
A real man would use screws. Yes, with a pilot hole.
What does 4"nail mean? How many penny? My daughter started on an Estwing Trim Hammer JUST LIKE YOURS!
Estwing not eastwing
Not even a framing hammer old boy. Your journeyman would be ashamed.
Steel shafted hammers destroy your elbows.
I'm almost positive that's an Estwing hammer and not an "Eastwing" hammer.🙄
My dad has one of those hammers if want hammer that's the one to get
Come oooooonnnnnnn.
It's the only way to do it... the old fashion way!
stop playing there...
This is a man's nail gun, it drives nails effortlessly and dosent require pre drilled holes. We sure know who is the hammer though😂
nice clean job. excellent demo.
Hope your not getting paid by the thousand 😂
Proper chippy wouldn’t need a pilot hole kid 😅
A spray bottle of water and a Walmart bag would really slick it up.
Can't stand the "down under" accent while being gaslighted.
Bent claw hammer??
An elephants foot capping
A man's hammer has a milled face.
Pretty sure that last swing pinged the camera lmao
Get a bricky level instead of joiners level , that will help . Bricky level design to tap the edge when you need to . But cost twice as much. But yes follow this bricky 5 bricks an hr , stop chatting and get on with it 😂
Im psure its estwing, not eastwing
Shows us a pilot hole?
Such artistry for something that won’t be seen … I like that
👍👏
Still can't use either 😂
Use hex heads those poly tops will discolour within a year if in a sunny spot ..proper cheap shit nails them
Who uses hex heads on facia ?
@@JamesCarter1888_ hex head tops . Is what we used to call them .those tops are never coming off and are far superior nails . The ones this guy is using are cheap and nasty Poly tops i believe Imo . Sorry been out the game for awhile I didnt mean screws 🖖
Yup!...you ain't lived a life unless you've used cut up newspaper as bog paper...we must be round about the same age!
Looks good to me, glue one side. Id have a nailing template so my caps are spot on along length.
Only glue one side workers ‘ better than returning 20miles next year to fix it snapped.’
I'd be tempted to leave my handprint in the cement for future generations to discover, it won't be discovered for another 250 years so you'll be in the clear 😁😁🖐️
An old carpenter or a man's hammer would not require a drilled hole to drive the nail.
using a finish hammer not a framing hammer, and a pilot hole what a rookie
funny lol
I was told decades ago that the hammer got its name from a prisoner who invented the design and named it east wing from the block he was serving in!. Who knows!!.. but I do know that if you tap the point of a nail it won’t split the wood. 👍
I just started getting back into carpentry recently and the boss was surprised when i started hammering the joices in. I guess a lot of people cant hammer straight if their life depends on it
Just dip it in tbe water mate
Spray the joint not the fascia. On white fascia it will go yellow if you spray the fascia
Stupid question won’t those too bricks eventually just get pushed off or does the muck hold it in by going into the voids below too
The "muck" aka mortar actually hardens and acts as a glue its basically a cement
It isn’t basically cement, it is cement, aggregate and water to certain ratio to match colour and strength of the mortar.
@@DroptheBassForJesusSakeit is cement
@@DroptheBassForJesusSake It is cement 😊
Yeah doesn't look like they will bond very well to that smooth tile on top of the wall
Budd is a GOD! :)
I drill piolet holes for my little boy, I wonder if his Daddy drilled his?
The amout of people who prob dont even own a hammer talking about the pilot hole. Obviously never ever built anything. If you would pound a 4 inch gavy into any board it will split bigger than your moms ass crack😂
Ha ha you predrilled the hole! 😅
Paddle dog might disagree 🤔😂
Where was the mans drill that made that pilot hole 😮
Love the earthed finger Bud . Proper builders plaster 👍👍
That’s the only way to keep a plaster on David 👍👍
Nothing beats an Eastwing 😊
Estwing.
